While damage spells are always nice to have, some buffs and debuffs only really shine when casted on an appropriate unit. It also depends on your army composition.

Shadow does a lot of damage, Light has the net which is great for ranged focused armies and Heavens has a strong debuff and nice damage. Personally i like having at least one caster in the army with a healing spell, so either a life mage or a loremaster. The lore depends on what you want your mage to do, so there's not really a вЂћrightвЂњ one, though i think the high magic is pretty disappointing. All of them are great units, but the star dragon is probably the best unit in the game. Dragon Princes, Swordmasters, Phoenix or Dragons. A core of phoenix guard and sisters can be complemented by whatever you like. Sisters of averlorn are obviously the best ranged unit, but some Seaguards are also fine because they can hold a flank against cavalry if needed. I usually go for a frontline of phoenix guard as they are more versatile than swordmasters. High Elfs have a very strong economy so lategame you can pretty much afford everything even an army of star dragons. An army like that can deal with pretty much everthing even in the lategame. In the midgame you can add a noble, a mage, silverhelms and bolt throwers. So spearmen to hold the line and archers to do damage. I guess I should build Elven Embassy in every city?Д®arly i would stick to the units with reduced upkeep. Wouldn't it be better to go for Elven Craftsman?

Gardens boost Plaza but cities can get plaza only to rank 3 and Gardens' upgrade comes with 4th tier. Should I build Plaza in every provincial capital for the sake of happiness? What about Elven Gardens? If I must buy Plaza should I go for Gardens too? It confuses me a little bit. How should my money making province look like? Should I go for industry or entertainment buildings?

How should I build him? What 'dedicated to' talent is the best? What is better Majesty of Ulthuan or Bloodline of Aenarion? Is it worth to go for blue line past Route Marcher? Better to go for yellow line or red one? What kind of heroes should I use in army with Tyrion? I guess a mage would be one but which lore? How should look like my late game army composition? How should look like my early game army composition? I plan to play as Tyrion in Vortex campaign because his starting position is easy. Think we missed one?
